5 Stylish St. Louis-Area Boutiques We Love
I used to love shopping. When I was stressed I would head to the store for a bit of retail therapy. But after becoming a mom, shopping time has become much harder to find. Hello, Amazon Prime!
But, there are still times when I can steal away, grab a coffee and hit a couple of my favorite places. Here’s a list of our current loves for every budget.
Leopard Boutique
This adorable shop is locally-owned by a fellow mama! When she launched her first location in Webster Groves, a few years ago it was so popular she has since opened a location in Maplewood and St. Charles. Leopard is a unique shopping experience because you get a boutique vibe without the usual higher boutique prices. I love it for basic pieces like cute tees and sweaters.Blush
This sweet, boho shop is tucked into Kirkwood’s downtown area and has been a staple of fashionable moms for years. The service is friendly but not pushy. And there’s a charming selection of designer pieces displayed next to locally-made goods. Tip: They don’t have an active website, so if you want to check them out online before you go, hit up their feed on Instagram.Paperdolls
Similarly to Leopard, Paperdolls has a unique boutique selection of designer pieces paired with more budget-friendly options. This shop is perfect for feminine pieces and gifts for friends.Civil Alchemy
This modern general store in Webster Groves is our go-to shop for gifts. They have an ever evolving collection of clothing and as a bonus, they have a gorgeous selection of flowers, men’s and kitchen items. The self-serve flower bar is a unique way to grab a bouquet on your way to a dinner party, or spend more time on a beautiful succulent arrangement for a friend. It’s truly special.Fauxgerty
Also owned by a local mother, Fauxgerty’s clothing and signature faux leather jackets focus on sustainability. Their designs are constructed with eco-friendly, vegan fabric and made in ethical factories with fair-wage practices. Shop online or at their Lafayette Square location.
